In addition to numerous sporting highlights, his second term in office saw, above all, the structural reorientation of the racing club, combined with the fundamental decision to retain the Munich training location with its training track, to build the new employee residence and to open the large race track area more frequently for events.
The Munich Racing Club deeply regrets the decision of its long-standing president, but fully understands that Dietrich von Boetticher would like to take a step back in the future.
Michael Motschmann (Vice President) said: “We would like to thank Dietrich von Boetticher for his outstanding commitment to the Munich Racing Club. The Munich Racing Club is losing a turf personality of outstanding caliber at its helm. The course taken in the last year is to be continued in the coming years, with the Munich Racing Club electing a new board at its ordinary general meeting in April.”
Sascha Multerer (General Secretary): “Dietrich von Boetticher has also made a great contribution to the Munich Racing Club in his second term in office. The maintenance of the training track, the partial conversion of the site into an event area and the construction of the staff residence are important pillars for the future of the club. We would like to thank Dietrich von Boetticher for his commitment and wish him a quieter time now.”
