The “7 wins!” bet is entering its second year after the brilliant start in autumn last year.
On Easter Sunday, April 9, 2023, the search for the big Easter egg starts in Hoppegarten: 77,777 euros are guaranteed as a minimum amount in the pot on every match day for all the winners who have correctly ticked all seven winners on their betting slips.
The hunt for the big jackpots – in 2022 there was a record payout in German horse racing with almost 400,000 euros! – goes until the beginning of December 2023, when the prospect of an extra-large Christmas bonus beckons in Mülheim.
Good news for all bettors: From now on, not only betting slips with all seven correctly predicted winners in the 1st prize tier will win, but also “six correct” in the 2nd prize tier. 15% of the payout pool is available for this, 85% goes to the winners who have all the winners on their betting slips.
In addition to the potential jackpots in the 1st prize tier, jackpots can now also occur in the 2nd prize tier.
In a simulation for 2022, winnings would have been paid out for “six correct numbers” on each of the five match days. The top value: 19,469.40 euros for a stake of 0.20 euros on November 19, 2022 in Munich-Riem! Otherwise, the payouts for a stake of 0.20 euros would all have been in the three-digit range. However, since almost all players placed combination bets, the majority would have hit “six correct numbers” more often than once, often resulting in four-digit payouts. The top value would have been reached here on December 3, 2022 in Baden-Baden with one betting slip: 26 times 340.50 euros would have meant a payout of 9,354.00 euros – as I said for just “six correct numbers”.
Elena Delor will once again welcome expert guests to her video talk on the Friday evening before each draw, which will then be shown on YouTube, the Facebook page of “Wetten, dass…?!?” and the channels of Deutscher Galopp and Wettstar. Of course, the betting slips of the two experts can also be won by viewers who enter their desired betting slip in the comments section on the Facebook page of “Wetten, dass…?!?” by the next day.
The sports world is publishing extra pages for each race day with important information about the seven races.
The betting companies have announced that they will be setting up more betting pools. In doing so, they are following the successful team around Hubertus Diers, whose eight-person team won the sensational €400,000 mentioned above in Baden-Baden.
The BGG operating company of Galopp-Rennvereine GmbH has once again commissioned the Munich racing club to organize and host the “7 wins!” bet.
The net proceeds from the bet go into Deutscher Galopp’s sponsorship program – and thus into the financing of racing prizes. In addition, the racing clubs whose races are bet on receive up to 7,000 euros each per match day directly from the proceeds of the “7 wins!” bet.
Sascha Multerer, Managing Director of BGG: “The “7 wins!” bet has already shown in just a few draws in 2022 what potential it has for German horse racing: in financial terms, but also especially as a thrilling leisure activity for betting communities and individual bettors. Those who correctly predicted all 7 winners in their bet can share at least an impressive 77,777 euros each match day. This sum is guaranteed, but can – and will – rise to significantly higher levels through jackpots. For 2023, we hope to see a stabilization of sales at a high level and a cross-racetrack excitement, especially when the new “rolling jackpot” moves from race day to race day. We wish everyone who takes part a lot of fun and – especially thanks to the new 2nd prize tier – one or two attractive hits!”
