3 wins and further placings in Hoppegarten and Cologne

The Munich racing teams are returning home from Berlin and Cologne after the Easter weekend with 3 wins and other placings. Michael Figge, Jutta Mayer, Karoly Kerekes and Sarah Steinberg can therefore look forward to a successful long weekend.

The first race day of the Berlin racing season took place on Easter Sunday, followed by the opening race in Cologne on Easter Monday.

Sarah Steinberg’s protégés Salvina (see photo) and Zenzi (both owned by the Gestüt Hachtsee racing stable) were both ridden by René Piechulek in Berlin. Salvina won her race over 2,000 meters – Zenzi came fourth in a mare race over 1,800 meters.
Luzum, trained by Jutta Mayer, also competed in Berlin. With Michaela Mialacova, he came second for his owner Josef Seidl in a handicap III over 1,200 meters.

Michael Figge and Karoly Kerekes traveled to Cologne on Monday.
In the handicap III over 2,200 meters, Astoria with Martin Seidl came third for Michael Figge and the Holsboer stable. The race was won by the Orrys Queen’s Harry stable with Konstantin Phillip (trainer Karoly Kerekes). And Scarlet also won for her trainer Karoly Kerekes and her owner Karin Schwerdtfeger in a handicap III (1,850 meters) with Michal Abik.
