There was a change of partner for the first day of racing. Due to a change in strategy, pferdewetten.de withdrew as a sponsor of the race. However, the Munich Racing Club managed to find a new partner for this race in Munich and so in 2022 the betting provider Wettstar.de will support the race and also take over the advertising space on the starting machine, in the final arch, on the saddle blankets and a run-in.

With Wettstar.de we have gained a new partner who has not yet been active on a large scale in Munich. Riko Luiking (Managing Director of Wettstar.de): “When the Bavarian Classic was on the market as an advertising opportunity, we didn’t hesitate for long and are now happy to be a partner of one of the important Derby preliminary tests and to be able to accompany the Munich gallop season with advertising. On race days, we will also be a regular guest with the betting school and will be running one or two special promotions together with the Munich Racing Club.”
