On the evening of June 30th, Kurt Fekonja’s Sean took third place in the Gran Premio di Milano, a Group II race for EUR 198,000. With a strong final effort, the five-year-old with Luca Maniezzi in the saddle moved up to third place behind Cantocorale and favorite Dawn Intello, meaning the two German candidates took second and third place in the field. Third place and the blacktype were rewarded with EUR 18,360.

On June 25, Sarah Steinberg celebrated a Listed victory with Quest the Moon in Compiegne, with the gelding securing his second victory in his third start of the year and bringing home 30,000 EUR. On the same day, Power of Royal took a place of honor in strong fashion and was able to attract attention with a good performance.
