But standing still means going backwards, and so the Munich Racing Club is coming onto the market with two new ticket categories. In addition to the boxes that were already bookable in previous years, this season there will also be additional seats in the A grandstand that can be reserved on the ticket page. The so-called “parquet seats” are located on the first floor of the A grandstand behind the boxes. The rows and seats are numbered and offer spectators a perfect view of the finish. The rows of seats on the second floor will remain freely accessible to everyone this year. “The box seats became a best seller last year. They were fully booked on all race days. In order to offer visitors even more opportunities to secure their seat in advance, we have decided to offer the rows of seats on the first floor as well,” says Managing Director Sascha Multerer.
With two race days during the holiday season (May 18th, Whitsun and August 10th, summer holidays), families are an important target group. The children’s area has been part of the supporting program for decades and is a popular place for the youngest visitors on all race days. To make the racecourse experience even more attractive and affordable for families, the Munich Racing Club has come up with the new “family ticket” category. Families save 50% on the second child between the ages of 13 and 18. Children up to and including 12 can still enter the Munich racecourse for free.
